Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative with iPSS, your primary role will be to assist the sales team in developing their pipeline, by outbound calling, lead generation & follow-up, call campaigns, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work persistently to gain new accounts and/or identify opportunities in account territory
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Leverage reports and Salesforce functionality with a systematic approach to ensure diligent follow up, lead tracking, pipeline visibility
  • Assist sales team in maintaining Salesforce through regular meetings (won/lost business, new clients, etc.) and following up on pipelines
  • Set up calls/meetings for sales team to close qualified opportunities and track follow-ups required
  • Research accounts, identify key contacts and the potential fit for iPSS’ product offerings/services as a context that maximizes the effectiveness of cold calling
  • Develop action plans to pursue leads and follow up on prospects
  • Stay abreast of current industry trends and how company’s customers/partners are being impacted to help solve specific market challenges in targeted industries
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Participate in outbound call campaigns
  • Contact out dated clients
  • Reach out and work closely with Cyber Security vendors/partners
  • Register deal opportunities on partner portals
  • Responsible for preparing quotes for the sales team and following up with sales team on outdated quotes
  • Following up with clients after a completed engagement to ensure quality assurance, to maintain relationships and to cultivate additional business
  • Product knowledge of various iPSSpartner solutions through various sales training opportunities
  • Stay abreast of partner technology offerings and update product listings on various iPSS procurement vehicles as required (new offerings, EOL, pricing, etc.)
  • Maintain relationships and negotiate best terms with distributors of iPSS solutions
  • Represent iPSS  sales at various events/meetings

 Qualifications:

  • Strong phone presence and experience with dozens of calls per day
  • Experience working with Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, French is considered an asset
  • Ability to obtain a Canadian Federal Government security clearance – Secret Level
  • Self-motivator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of IT/Cyber Security is a valuable asset
  • Experience using problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
